MEET THE SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Meet the Steering Committee
The IPC Steering Committee is composed of industry leaders and specialists from across the private parking sector. It provides guidance on key issues such as IPC policy, sector-wide challenges, and overall strategy. The Committee was established to ensure a strong focus on representing the IPCs members. The Steering Committee includes the CEO of the IPC, the IPC’s Head of Membership, and the IPC’s Head of Compliance, alongside sector industry leaders. Sitting above the three special interest groups: The AOS Interest Group, The ASP Interest Group, and The Tech Group, the Steering Committee sets the strategic direction, while the special interest groups focus on the finer details.
Meet the AOS Interest Group
The AOS (Accredited Operator Scheme) Special Interest Group operates under the IPC’s Steering Committee, providing detailed review and operational insight into proposed changes to the Code of Practice. Comprising management-level representatives from IPC accredited operators, the group ensures that regulatory developments are practical and effective at ground level. Its members identify issues arising from evolving technologies, share best practices, and promote educational initiatives for operators and motorists. The group also undertakes operator-focused projects, develops operational standards, and represents the wider AOS membership. The Chairperson sits on both AOS and Steering Committee groups, acting as the link between the two.
Meet the ASP Interest Group
The ASP (Accredited Service Provider) Special Interest Group operates under the IPC Steering Committee, focusing on the development and refinement of standards within the debt resolution process. Comprising senior representatives from IPC accredited ASP members, the group reviews Code of Practice changes that impact debt recovery, ensuring they are effective and workable in practice. It undertakes projects specific to debt resolution, identifies sector-wide challenges, and promotes best practices. The group also supports education for operators, service providers, and motorists, and serves as a representative voice for the wider ASP members of the IPC. The Chairperson sits on both ASP Group and Steering Committee meetings, acting as the link between the two.
Meet the Technology Interest Group
The Technology Special Interest Group operates under the IPC Steering Committee and serves as a collaborative forum for technology providers, operators, and the IPC to align on innovation and industry needs. Its purpose is to support research and development that delivers practical, forward-looking solutions for operators and motorists, while improving standards and enabling seamless integration across services. The group promotes best practices, develops data sharing protocols, and advances education for all stakeholders. The Chairperson sits on both the Technology special interest Group and Steering Committee, acting as the link between the two.
